President University has been operating since 2001 in cooperation with several important national figures in Indonesia, including Prof. Dr. Juwono Sudarsono who served as former defense minister of Indonesia and now the chairman of President University’s foundation, and Setyono Djuandi Darmono who is serving as a President Director of PT. President University has a vision to become one of the World Class Universities that is expected to attract not only local people to get their bachelors degree in their own country but also to attract foreigners to come to Indonesia for studying. President University currently has produced 5 batches in which 93% of the its graduates have successfully worked in many state-owned and private enterprises based on their fields of expertise and the remaining 7% of the graduates pursue their masters degree in Indonesia and abroad. - Using an international curriculum that has been approved by the Directorate of Higher Education of Indonesia (DIKTI)- license no. 54/D/O/2004. The international curriculum is expected to provide teaching approach that is more focused and targeted to students who want to successfully compete, especially in the globalization era.
- Using 100% English as its primary language (which includes daily conversations and text books) expected to provide competitive advantage to students after graduating from the University.
- International community with the quota: 30:70 foreign students to locals; and 30% of foreign lecturers while the remaining 70% of its professional teaching staffs are locals who mostly earned their masters degree (S2) and doctorate degree (S3) abroad.

- Internship program for 2 full semesters in multinational and national companies in Indonesia and abroad to ensure the University’s graduates ready for work.

The total tuition fees for regular program in President University is 250 million rupiahs up to finish (it can be paid in installments); however, through an extensive collaboration with PT. JABABEKA, Tbk. and its affiliates, President University is able to offer scholarships and financial waivers to approximately 500 bright students from 30 cities in Indonesia every year.
