Thursday (14/10), the Business Administration Study Program, President University (PresUniv), in collaboration with the Internship & Career Center (ICC) Bureau, held a webinar with the topic SEO as Digital Marketing Strategy in the World of Hospitality Business. This webinar is part of the Virtual Internship & Career Fair 2021 program organized by the ICC Bureau. For this event, BA Study Program and ICC Bureau presented speakers from Bukit Vista, a startup engaged in the online property management business in the hospitality industry. Some of the properties managed by Bukit Vista are located in Bali and Yogyakarta.

This webinar presents Jing Cho Yang, CEO and Co-Founder of Bukit Vista, and Gunung Ghanie, content creator and digital marketer of Bukit Vista, as speakers. In his presentation, Jing Cho Yang emphasized that when successfully optimizing the role of search engines, there will be many consumers who are looking for our products or services. "One indicator of the success of a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) application is when the product or service we offer always ranks at the top of the Google search engine," said Jing.

Gunung Ghanie explains in more detail how to optimize SEO by referring to the Bukit Vista experience. He explained, “Before posting something on websites or other digital media, we need to research keywords that consumers choose. For example, look for cheap resorts in Bali, and so on.” SEO results should also be monitored using Google Analytics and Hotjar.
